Key challenges in large-scale structural design involve load distribution, structural stability, and dynamic response to environmental forces such as wind, earthquakes, and thermal variation. Advanced computational modeling, finite element analysis (FEA), and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools are employed to predict performance and optimize the design.
Material selection is also critical—high-strength concrete, structural steel, and composite materials are commonly used to achieve the necessary strength-to-weight ratios and durability standards. Additionally, construction logistics, safety protocols, and sustainability targets must be integrated from the early stages of project planning to ensure successful delivery.










The Saudi Landbridge Project is a major railway initiative aimed at connecting Jeddah on the Red Sea with Riyadh, and further linking to Dammam on the Persian Gulf. The project involves constructing approximately 1,500 km of new railway tracks, facilitating both freight and passenger transport. It is expected to boost Saudi Arabia’s logistics sector and support the country’s Vision 2030 goals. Construction is anticipated to begin in 2025
